The Governors of the Federation of St
Gregory's Catholic High School in the
Archdiocese of Liverpool and Cardinal Newman Catholic High
School in the Diocese of Shrewsbury
are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to take our
Federation onto the next stage of its development.
The Federation of
Catholic High Schools in Warrington was created in 2009 and
comprises
two very successful schools. Each school has a strong
identity and unique characteristics.
We have a single governing body that brings the two schools together and
we will support
collaborative
working and imaginative educational strategies under
the leadership of an Executive Headteacher who will be a
practising Catholic and whose philosophy is informed by the
strong Catholic ethos of the schools.
Owing to the retirement of our Executive Head, we wish to
appoint an experienced Headteacher
or Deputy Headteacher with a vision to inspire, motivate and
challenge. The successful
candidate will demonstrate values and beliefs that underpin
the Governors’ vision for the future of the
Federation and Catholic secondary education.
The schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the
welfare of children and young people. The successful
applicant will be expected to undertake a criminal record
check via CRB.

The governors of this Outstanding school (Ofsted
Dec 2011) are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to the
above post in our high-achieving and well-equipped science
department. The successful applicant will be an outstanding
classroom teacher and must be able to teach physics to GCSE
level, as well as being able to demonstrate high levels of
leadership and management skills. The school is part of a
federation with Cardinal Newman Catholic High School,
Warrington and the appointed teacher will be expected to
share expertise across the partnership.
